'Allo!

So, it finally has arrived: Nekocon. After the exhausting heat, feet aching, head aching, happy smiles and more happy crew, the first day has ended. My kimono and the Kenshin outfit I made were a success, if I may complement myself a little. My shoes were full wooden ones, so after 5h of walking it was time to change something softer to my feet as they started to hurt like hell xD. But the decision for next years costume were made: something simple and breathing, natural fibers and loosen clothing. Maybe I'll go as Kikyo from Inuyasha.

The Music Centre was packed full, especially during the Cosplay contest. The cutest cosplayer was a 7-year-old boy cosplaying Sora, from Kingdom Hearts. He was absolutely adorable! It was a shame that we had to leave before the winner was announced, but I think I'll find out who it was. I have my thumbs on my friend's [link] brother, who might have been sweating in his outfit more that I did. He was wearing a woolen jacket and a commando mask.

I'll be posting pictures of myself and the con later on. I still don't have a camera so I have to rely on my friends as a source of photographs. Thanks to Hieiyasho, who kindly took pictures for me and of course zzz-chan .
